BusinessObjects Enterprise XI:
Implementing Business Views
Description: The target audience for this course
is Data Managers who are responsible for creating and maintaining Business
Views.
Abstract: This course introduces users to Business
Views in BusinessObjects Enterprise XI. Learners will be able to define
Business Views and the components that make up a Business View. The business
benefit of the course is that learners will be able to modify and create
Business Views based on their organization’s data requirements.
Student Profile: The target audience for this
course is Data Managers who are responsible for creating and maintaining
Business Views. Depending on the organization, Data Managers may be represented
by Database Administrators or Business Analysts.
Prerequisites: To be successful, learners who
attend this course must have working knowledge of:
- BusinessObjects Enterprise security concepts
- BusinessObjects Enterprise InfoView
- Crystal Reports and core report design concepts
- NT enterprise security concepts (global & local groups, and directory
structure)
Objectives: After completing the course, learners
will be able to:
- Create and modify Data Foundations and Data Connections
- Create and modify Business Views and Business Elements
- Create lists of values and dynamic prompts
